Léopold Shapes What We Build
At OSS Ventures, Léopold is Head of Product and Partner. He leads product direction, product quality, and product capabilities across our in-residence startups. From day zero to first launch, he works with founders to define what should be built, why it matters, and how it should be executed. His responsibility is simple in wording and demanding in practice: make sure every venture builds the right product, the right way, from the start.
For seven years, he has supported ventures from idea origination through market discovery, product strategy, and the first steps toward product-market fit with design partners. He operates at the moment when conviction must confront reality.
Track Record
Léopold has been involved in around 20 ventures with different levels of responsibility, as product lead, product support, team manager, or portfolio contributor. These include Fabriq, Mercateam, Oplit, Niagara, MyC, Automi, Cybeletech, Vertical, Ayrton, Juno, Cognyx, NRJx, Cinqo, Relief, Bonx, Vela, Parsio, CompoundX, SalesX, and Toore. Some scaled, some did not. All contributed to the way OSS builds today.
Inside the portfolio, he works alongside founders to shape product vision and stress-test assumptions against real industrial constraints. He brings pattern recognition from years of 0-to-PMF journeys, helping teams navigate customer discovery, iteration cycles, and early revenue. He also coaches product managers and strengthens the methodology behind the OSS venture-building playbook, so each new startup benefits from accumulated learning.
Before OSS, Léopold complemented his technical studies with experience in project finance and M&A, private equity, and operations at an early-stage Australian startup. He joined OSS as one of its first team members and grew from junior product manager to Partner, contributing directly to the evolution of the studio’s product discipline and build methodology.
