Joyd Puts AI Into Production

‍Joyd is Head of Engineering at OSS Ventures. He specialises in industrializing AI pipelines, taking models from experiment to systems that run reliably in production at industrial clients. He takes studio ventures from first prototype to products that run in production at industrial clients, covering architecture, backend, mobile, cloud infrastructure and data. He also leads the data work that tests new venture ideas against real customer data.

‍Track Record

‍Joyd was CTO at Meero from 2016 to 2021, growing the engineering team from 2 to 80 people through four funding rounds, up to a $230M Series C. He went on to co-found Motuu and Yumi as CTO, building both mobile apps from scratch. Most recently he worked as a freelance lead engineer and fractional CTO, building B2C and B2B apps end to end and setting up LLM fine-tuning infrastructure.
