At OSS Ventures, Jake leads preferred client partnerships, LP relationships, growth-stage portfolio support, and US expansion strategy. His role is focused on positioning OSS ventures in the right rooms, with the right partners, at the right moment. He works where commercial strategy, capital relationships, and geographic expansion intersect.

Track Record

Jake has supported ventures including Bonx, Cognyx, Fabriq, Mercateam, Oplit, and Yoshu. His involvement concentrates on growth-stage challenges, helping companies refine their positioning and engage with larger clients and strategic stakeholders. When expansion to the US becomes relevant, he shapes the entry strategy and ensures it is grounded in market reality.

Inside the portfolio, he works with founders on US market positioning, preferred client engagement, and growth-stage business development and operations. His contribution strengthens how ventures present themselves, structure partnerships, and navigate more complex commercial environments. The objective is disciplined expansion, not opportunistic growth.

Before OSS, Jake spent five years as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy, operating in high-responsibility and high-pressure environments. He later joined Microsoft as a Product Manager before becoming a seed investor at Neon Capital in New York. He holds an MS in Computer Science from UT Austin and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
